Is Hellraiser: Revival censored anywhere?
Not on any version it sells, according to Saber: the content is the same on PS5, Xbox, PC and Switch 2. Where there are limits they are by country, not platform: Indonesia rates it Banned rather than asking for cuts.
Saber’s statement
Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival will contain the same content across all platforms. The gameplay is meant to push boundaries and will not be censored in any way, including the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
A Saber spokesperson said this in answer to the Switch 2 question, since other mature games have been trimmed on Nintendo platforms before, but it covers every version.
What “not censored” means here
The ratings show what is in the game: blood and gore, intense violence, nudity, strong sexual content and drug use on the ESRB side, and the publisher’s content warning adds torture, consensual mutilation and non-explicit consensual sex. Saber’s statement is that none of this changes between platforms. The age rating page has the full table.
There are reports of small cuts in the PC demo. Saber has not addressed them, and the demo is a pre-release build.
Is there a content filter or censor option?
None has been announced. Streamers and players who want to avoid the explicit scenes should assume the game plays uncut, and the free demo gives a fair idea of how explicit it gets early on.
Where availability is restricted or unresolved
A cut version is one outcome of a strict rating; a refusal is the other. Indonesia’s IGRS rates it Banned. Japan is unresolved rather than refused: it is not on the Japanese PlayStation Store and has no price on the Japanese Microsoft Store; the Japan page has the details.
