A first-person survival horror game from Saber Interactive: you play Aidan, who uses a puzzle box called the Genesis Configuration to go after his girlfriend Sunny in the Labyrinth, with Doug Bradley back as the voice of Pinhead. It is out on 8 October on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.

The demo, and what players asked for

The free Steam demo is out, and its reviews reached Overwhelmingly Positive.

One complaint turns up in positive and negative reviews alike: the camera. There is no field-of-view slider and no way to turn off head bob, which some players say made them feel sick; both are still missing from the demo. The demo page has what is in it and what the patch fixed.

What the box does

Three powers: Telekinesis to launch saw blades and rail spikes, Pyrokinesis to throw fire, and the Hell Chains. You fuel them by executing enemies to gather their Suffering, and outside a fight the box reshapes parts of the Labyrinth to open a way through. The story page covers who you are fighting.
